Wine Style: Dry

Colour: Intense ruby

Bouquet: Abundant in sour cherry, cassis, plums and spices.

Palate: The taste is intense and well balanced, with fine tannins. Vanilla notes come from ageing in oak barrels.

Food pairings: To be served at 16-18°C with lamb, roasted beef, game or spicy dishes, Moroccan or Indian meals.

Alcohol vol. : 14.5%

Region: Dealu Mare DOC – CT

Fermentation

Grapes were harvested end of September. Alcoholic fermentation occurred in stainless steel followed by a few months of ageing on lees. Free-run juice drained directly from the press was used for each variety.

Oak maturation: 12 months in Romanian oak barriques.
